Teaching Experience
In 1995, after serving 23 years in the United States Army, 1SG (Ret.) Cockrell began teaching JROTC at the Ottumwa High School in Ottumwa, Iowa. After 10 years at the Ottumwa High School he came to Central Campus to teach JROTC. He additionally coaches the JROTC Drill and Raider teams and performs duties as the Military Property Custodian. 1SG (Ret.) Cockrell possesses a Career and Technical Iowa Educational License with endorsement in Military Science
