Class Description

Explore opportunities for employment in the hospitality and food service industry through the operation of the student-run Campus Café and ProStart Certification form the national Restaurant Association. Students plan and prepare food, use institutional equipment, set up a dining room, and serve customers in the Campus Café. you will also visit restaurants and other hospitality businesses.


Chef John has worked in the hospitality industry since the day of his 16th birthday when he start washing dishes and bussing tables.  He has since worked in many facets of the industry and has worked under some of the best chefs in the world.
