A Learjet is just one of many learning tools available to students in the automotive and aviation technology program.

Whether on the road or in the sky, Central Campus provides students some of the most unique transportation-related educational courses in the nation.

Central Campus is one of only three schools in the country with an FAA-licensed aviation technology program, complete with its own learing lab at the Des Moines International Airport and a fleet of aircraft for students to practice what they learn. In fact, Des Moines Public Schools is the only school district in the nation with a Learjet, for the use of our aviation students.

Today, automotive work involves as much computer knowledge as any field of science and technology. Central Campus provides students with access to the latest technical tools in order to be prepared for a career in the automotive industry, including a garage where hands-on learning takes place on a variety of vehicles.
